Deploy

We can now build, push, and start the service:

$ m birthday_server
$ adb push $ANDROID_PRODUCT_OUT/system/bin/birthday_server /data/local/tmp
$ adb shell /data/local/tmp/birthday_server

In another terminal, check that the service runs:

$ adb shell service check birthdayservice
Service birthdayservice: found

You can also call the service with service call:

$ $ adb shell service call birthdayservice 1 s16 Bob i32 24
